revson fountain / Lincoln Center, New York City 2009
When architects Beyer Blinder Belle were unable to locate a company that could fabricate their design for a new fountain in Lincoln Center without making major aesthetic concessions in the form, they contacted Performance Structures. PSI assessed the existing design and determined that the external form could be built according to the architects' vision if the structure were re-designed. The project was completed on a tight schedule and on budget. Visually stunning, the fountain now delights visitors to Lincoln Center. Architects: Diller Scofidio + Renfro, with Beyer Blinder Belle, New York. Water feature design: WET Design, Los Angeles.
